god this album is so much better than the last 3 Jock Jam records they put out.

Heaven, Iowa kinda sounds like a Phil Collins song

 

you know how when you're really excited about a record you'll sometimes dream about hearing it before it comes out and the record is sooo awesome in the dream even though of course you forget what it sounds like the instant you wake up, and you may end up liking or disliking the actual album when it comes out but it's never quite as intensely felt as it was with the dream version of the record? this is a long way of saying that i feel like i'm dreaming today

 

"Flu Game" will be a nice montage song during the NBA finals this year.

 

So Good Right Now is a bop!

is that song from the video where patrick was switching between a bunch of instruments on here? i have to wait until midnight to listen so i have no idea what anything sounds like. also, how are the lyrics? patrick was saying he enjoyed them a lot more this time around.

Yeah I’m on my second listen and this song is fantastic

 

Great album. I felt like I knew what I'd be getting and they kept me guessing and happily surprised all the way through

 

Are people ready for my at least 4, maybe more, of these songs could have fit right in on that album take?

 

I haven't listened to this yet but I can guarantee you that I will probably agree haha

First 6 on Mania I really like but it falls off for me after that. Last track is good too though, although I don't think I like it as much as everyone claims to

Only song I like from Mania is Wilson. That song definitely didn't belong on that album, IMO.

 

Feel like this album has just as much in common with Mania as it does any of the pre-hiatus albums

 

Definitely. "Iowa" gives me similar vibes.
