@Halitosis Jones @Greg JDF had retired from Power Rangers and turned down the offer to appear. He did lend his voice to a toy coming out this year so there may be hope for some ADR stuff but I wouldn’t expect a heavy presence at all

 

I’ve heard the rumor/fan theory that the new green ranger might be played by JDF’s daughter who has lobbied for the role and is a fighter like her dad. I’d be pretty down for that.

 

I think maybe in the future but I’d be shocked if it was happening here. Filming was finished way before JDF passed. In the trailer, you can see action figures on a shelf behind Rita. Fan guess is that those are rangers she’s gone to the past and “collected”. There’s MMPR red, pink, and green presumably to explain away the absence of JDF, Austin St John, and Amy Jo Johnson.
