I'd be pissed if I bought blind pre-sale tickets for So What. Lineup is weak af.

My bad, I should have added a "/s" at the end... Anyway, it was sarcastic

To be fair— (and I mentioned this months ago in this forum) they said something a long time ago that I understood to be them tempering expectations.

it was something along the lines of “this fest is a lot of work to put on and we feel a lot of external pressure to be even bigger than last year but that might not be in the cards”.

I’ve also noticed whenever anyone asks them about some crazy unrealistic headliner like Fall Out Boy or Kendrick Lamar or something they always say “we don’t have the budget for that, but if we did we’d love to get them”.

the team that puts on So What strike me as the exact opposite of Bamboozle’s John D. I think they’re trying to be honest with people and deliver the best product they can despite not having LiveNation money.

Yeah So What is def not for me, but I think they actually over delivered upon the expectation they set.

I’ve been on a roll with radio call ins lately. Just won JEW/Manchester Orchestra tickets. Fourth win in like a month and a half lol

All I had to do was share an embarrassing story for the entire city of Toronto to hear!

No, but last night at the wonder years show I used the handicapped stall in the bathroom and the only person in the building who actually needed it knocked on the door a whole 15 seconds into doing my business

Yes, I am a terrible person who deserves shame

For 100 bucks this is actually a great time, I paid $82 for The Used and PTV alone. I had a blast at So What last year and they were very up front about scaling down from how big last year was so I'm not angry in the slightest.

$148.50 after fees in Mansfield. Same deal with the very small pit. My group opted for that over seats that were the same price and much further away. Prices don't drop until the second level back, and even those are $120 after fees.

Pit was pretty readily available all day because it's only VIP/Citi pre-sale. I figure that stuff will go quickly in the general pre-sale tomorrow, but I don't expect these to sell tremendously fast otherwise.

I’m gonna wait for the Groupon on the Offspring tour, they def aren’t selling out a 20k venue in 2023.

I mean, they aren’t charging half of what John D is… John literally thought his lineup was worth over $300 whereas this is $150. I think it’s great so I’m biased as I would see a ton of these artists playing full sets like this individually and it would have cost me a lot more than that.

So What?! Fest isn’t really up my alley, but I think it’s worth the money, tbh

SoWhat doesn’t really have major names or anything but their lineup has a vision and is cohesive, while still being multi genre.

Not sure if this was posted among the other Misfits posters today. Megadeth opening for them feels weird, even more than Gaslight Anthem. FB_IMG_1679451657392.jpg

That band walked so hyperpop could run. A lot of those bands that really got shit back in the day were just a few years early. Kids loved to rag on brokencyde, yet suicide boys does the same thing worse and plays amphitheaters and coachella and the like

Went there for the sold out NIN show and that place is beautiful…but a fucking nightmare to leave. Legit spent 2hrs in the lot and didn’t move an inch.
