People need to be reminded that John D essentially stole Skate and Surf's formula to make Bamboozle and fucked them over to run them out of town.
He used to work for S&S, and then in 2005 booked the venue for the weekend 2 weeks prior to the fest, and manipulated artists into booking his festival, misleading them into thinking it was just Skate & Surf with a new name.

The GREAT IRONY here, is that after spending 2 years boasting the return of Bamboozle in Atlantic City, Adjacent Festival ended up swooping in, booking the same city 2 weeks later, and monopolizing all the artists that John D would've gone after. From what I'm reading online, the guy handling Adjacent used to handle booking for Boozle back in the day.

It took 20 years but karma came and bit him on the ass.

Bowling for Soup isn't cool or credible enough. Only cool punk AF bands play Bamboozle and Four Chords. Bands like Papa Roach, Limp Bizkit, Waterparks, and Patent Pending get to play those festivals. There's no space for goofy cheese like Bowling for Soup on festivals like that.

 

Four chord is what u can book when you haven't burned every bridge in the scene

 

And paid for a dozen gimmicky sideshow attractions

 

If patent pending can play so can bfs since they both share the same member

 

what where the original prices with fees for 3 day passes when this went on sale late last year?

 

$379 I don’t know how much it ended up with after fees

 

4 day passes for lolla with fees are $444

Could you imagine if the hottest artist in the world right now had her big stage debut at....Bamboozle? Performing in between Say Anything and Flyleaf

 

I have nothing noteworthy to add but wanted to say that following this thread the past few months has been beyond entertaining! Every time I think it can’t become more of a train wreck it fails to disappoint.

 

Following the weekly development of this trainwreck has been more exciting than any festival lineup reveal.
