Traveling for TXT, NewJeans, and DPR Ian is very tempting, especially considering how much I already like Billie and so many other artists on the lineup

DPR Ian was probably the album I listened to most last year

Waiting for the dates The 1975 play around this before doing anything. Or I’ll buy a single day for them when it’s closer.

That’s better than I anticipated.

I bet Riot Fest slots in right around $250.

 

Yeah this is…not great. The undercard has some decent acts, Maggie, Carly, Alex G, Holly Humberstone, Declan McKenna, sure, but they are drowned out by a lot of acts I do not know. Usually I know a decent amount of the undercard but it feels way less this year.

 

Lots of reading through a line thinking “I have no idea who any of these are”.

 

How do they make 4 full days out of this? It drops off hard after line 7…

 

That’s always been my issue with it since they went to 4 days. There just aren’t enough acts to fill out four days so it gets filled like this.

I’d honestly rather have two weekends of the same lineup or similar enough like Coachella.

 

Not the best they've done, but the headliners make up for it. Honestly not going to complain if there's a little less that makes me feel like I have to be there early every day.

If I can see Lana, Billie, and Odesza, and either Kendrick, RHCP, or 1975, I'll be really happy. It does fall off in the bottom half of the undercard, but there's still plenty I'm excited for.

 

Is Billie expected to have new material or are these fest shows just going to be a re-hash of the (already stripped down) Happier Than Ever shows?

 

Thrilled for them. Glad they're not on the last line like I've seen so so so many times before. They deserve better than opening a day.

 

She just headlined South American Lolla and it was the same set as the Happier Than Ever tour. Personally I’m down to see her again but I do see where people are coming from that it’s a weaker booking because she just came off a worldwide tour, especially if there is no new music being performed.

 

I dont know much about EDM, but Im surprised seeing Odesza as Top 4. Even more surprised they didnt booked Skrillex for that slot.

Is this the first time since Daft Punk that an EDM act headline Lolla?

 

Odesza's current show is insane, they absolutely deserve the top 4

I'm also hoping for at least something new by Billie. Her last date before Lolla/Osheaga weekend is April 2nd, so I don't think it's impossible she'll be debuting new material.

All Billie's shows starting August are at festivals, so it would be a good time to start hyping new songs/new show.

On a related note, Im seeing Billie in Mexico City at the end of the month. It will be her biggest show to date, a sold out 70k cap stadium. Its going to be insane!

 

I posted a comment about it on Bamboozle Instagram but they insisted Lolla was above $400 before fees lol

 

It is “starting at” so I’m sure there’s tiers like all festivals now but that’s copium.

Kendrick/ RHCP/ Odesza/ The 1975 are good for me. Undercard is a bit underwhelming.

All I needed was those 4, Mt Joy & Spacey Jane and I'm there.

Saw Odesza in Denver last year. Was the biggest single show I think I've ever attended.

 

3/4 of the bands I dont know.

All you need is 1 day, 7 bands, and a sideshow with a guy lifting weights with his nipples.

 

When I saw her at her last LA show in December she said they just started working on a new album, and that she has a couple festivals next year but that’s it. Don’t think she’ll have new material

 

Gimme a CRJ aftershow at Metro and I'll fly up
