I'm sure it's been said in here before, but I can't see Cena winning on Sunday because getting the record tying championship on a minor PPV like No Mercy seems like an odd choice. Def seems like a moment saved for something bigger like WrestleMania. Unless they save his eventual record breaking championship victory for WM.

didnt watch last night but lol SPIRIT SQUAD!?! yessssssss. Holy crap, the WWE acknowledging storylines from 04-10!! I'm shocked. Notice how the crowd had no idea who they were.

I wasn't watching the product live at the time, but i just finished watching all of modern wwe again (1985-2014), and I definitely dug the Spirit Squad gimmick. Kinda hated how buried they got from DX, but honestly, I think that gimmick ran its course. LOL at the WWE for thinking Kenny was the future though

 

I wish I could quit the dirt sheets, but I have too much time on my hands at work to fight the itch. It does diminish my enjoyment to an extent, but boosts it in some ways, too. For example: without dirtsheets/wreddit, I wouldn't know that Ziggler's status is actually in question, and would probably just right it off as another angle. But that knowledge has me all the more invested.

 

Reading spoilers and dirt sheets definitely ruined things for me. I stopped doing it and the shows have been much more enjoyable (despite my constant whining about them).

 

I've only read them a handful of times but it never changed anything for me because half the time its wrong and the other half I'm curious that if it does happen how the process will occur

 

Stumbling upon Lucha spoilers on wikipedia was the biggest bummer. Really pumped to see it play out though.

 

Yeah, I tend to stay away from "spoilers", except for TNA because they film their shows decades in advance and I don't watch anyways. Now that Smackdown is live, NXT is the only thing I really have to avoid the urge to look at spoilers for, and that's gotten increasingly easy as the product has lost steam. I'm a sucker for the rumor mill, though.

 

Yeah, same with CWC and now the Dusty Rhodes Classic...went to look up teams/competitors and saw winners of early rounds.

But their is one LU spoiler that Im just fascinated to see happen, since it seems so impossible currently.

 

Team Aries winning the whole thing.

 

TM-61 is fucked. I don't see what direction they are giving these guys who have tons of potential. I guess we get this:

Gargano and Ciampa win in the second round and when the tourney finishes they demand a shot at the titles and go over.

They have a short run as champs with AoP squashing them pretty handily.

TM-61 wins the belts around Summer Slam.

 

Team Glorious with the first round loss? Can't imagine they want a debuting faction to take a loss in their first match.

 

Having Almas and Alexander against the revival is interesting. Makes it the only first round match I'm not 99% sure who is winning. I feel like having them take down the Tag Team Champions in first round could be interesting, even if they fall to Gargano and Ciampa in the second round. Still not very likely.

I suppose Nese and Gulak could also win but the Swann/Jose combo is too good to not get a couple of matches out of it. And I donno much about Sanity... are they worth pushing over Perfectly Glorious? seems unlikely.

 

Next taping isn't until next week so I guess we won't know when SLB is debuting.

 

There is a VERY good reason Sanity is going against Roode and Dillinger. All will be revealed soon.

 

has their match already happened? I don't wanna google the team to find more about them if it'll spoil the match result.
