That performance was incredible

 

I dislike Americana and I'd be so bummed if it was the opener. I mean for like five seconds before I moved on but it would be a temp anticlimactic buzzkill for me

The choices for the cabin era make me up my budget for the LA shows. Oh and the amount of songs.

 

It would help but I'd still be like "wooooo!... oh"

 

Yeah, that's quite the let down of a song to open with after waiting for like 4 years since her last show with so many choices to choose from.

 

She should choose violence and open with Me! Tho now that I say that, the "I promise that you'll never find another like me" would be a fun line to open with if she immediately went into another song

I'd also pay for a tour of her just playing Cruel Summer on repeat for 3 hours so don't pay any mind to my opinions

 

as much as there are parts of Ready For It that I don't love it's the perfect opener especially since she's playing stadiums

 

I open many of my workout routines with ready for it and my apartment gym loves it

 

Setlist is exactly the same tonight so far

only difference is she’s wearing different outfits

Surprise acoustic song had a different dress tonight and that song was this is me trying
the piano song after was state of grace
so it looks like those 2 songs are changing each night

So much better than I could’ve even anticipated. So glad I got to go in blind. Also I am exhausted

 

I caught some pretty good streams, glad I saw this one especially because of that surprise acoustic choice

 

Oh no, Anne Marie tendler (artist, John Mullaney's ex wife) posted a joke about a piece of Taylor's tour copying her art and people thought it was real and are being very mean to her. I don't even check for her like that but I do follow her on insta and she used to come up on my tiktok fyp and she's always being sarcastic and being satircal and she's a Taylor fan iirc so I feel like she's prob pretty bummed about it. She deleted and clarified she was joking but I feel like people don't always see or believe the follow up

 

Obviously we know Swifties can be ruthless and take things too far often, and that is absolutely on those individuals, but I do wish that Taylor had done more in the past to tell the more extreme Swifties that meanness/rudeness is not the right move when it’s someone posting something innocuous. There’s a good chance she won’t know about this current situation, sure, but perhaps if she had spoken up during previous incidents this would be less of an issue now and in the future.

 

My take on the opener is Cruel Summer is the real one but she just wanted to start with something else to give the people lingering in bathroom/bar lines a chance to make it in. There wasn’t a ton of time between her and Paramore

 

If she made Tim McGraw a one city exclusive I’m gonna throw up.

This Is Me Trying and State of Grace is such a duo of heavy hitters.

 

this is a long shot but if anyone has tickets available for one of the Gillette shows please let me know. I've been looking at StubHub and so far the cheapest nosebleeds behind the stage are $700 each

It's a great song and definitely one of the stronger songs on the album.
