What a disaster for Arsenal, not particularly just losing. But losing that way on penalties after the extra 30 minutes is tough and throws a spanner in the works for the weekend. Though Palace are hopeless.

 

I think it's that extra 30 minutes which might kill us.

It's always nice to win a trophy, and I've never seen us win anything in Euope, but unless there's a tragedy we should be in the Champions League next year so from that perspective it's not the biggest loss?

 

Might be better in the long run, but you never know what the mental hit that loss could be until afterwards.

 

Missed extra time but wasn’t surprised to see us out on penalties tbh.

I really want to see us win a European trophy but I would rather win the PL. Going out means we only have one midweek game left, which is the City away game. Could be beneficial to winning the league, but my worry is we end up with nothing for a fantastic season.

Napoli will win the CL I think. They can rest players in Serie A due to their huge lead, and I think they play the best football in europe.

Who on earth do the Palace heirarchy think they can get in to turn things around? I've heard Benitez is the favourite which is genuinely hilarious to me.
