Also decided I’m completely done even listening to Jones interviews. Dude lives in a warped sense of reality surrounded by yes men, spouts Christian this and Christian that as means to forgive himself for being a walking trash bin, and is actually one of the worst POS cheaters that ever signed with the UFC yet refuses to ever acknowledge it. If they’d of given Dominick Reyes a win on him, no one would care nearly as much after 3 years of his soap opera to see him fight again.

Stipe's got the name and history, so I get it. But he got knocked out bad and hasn't fought since. Blades, Pavlovich, Volkov have been active and winning. Reward those guys.

But I get the business side, Stipe and Jon sells. Think Jon will run through him and that's why he's anxious to capitalize on it sooner than later.

I would actually not tune in for Usman v Covington III. Wish it were Burns.

I wouldn't doubt it if they gave Colby the shot against Leon but not Kamaru. It sucks seeing Burns, Khamzat, Shavkat, Muhammad, etc. stuck under him though. They should match up Colby with one of those guys for next, if anything.

Colby is well known for ducking and refusing to fight unless it’s a fight he deems “worthy.” And for whatever reason, the UFC has been fine with it since he draws money from morons. He wants nothing to do with any of those guys. Like, his last win was over a year ago against a washed Masvidal who was ranked 6. before that, a washed Woodley who he ducked for years, in 2020. How tf is this guy ranked No. 2 with 2 tf losses to Usman and, factually, not a single solitary win or even a fight against anyone else currently in the top 10.

Agreed with all of that. I know it’s easy to revise his resume since all of his solid wins like Woodley, RDA, Lawler, Maia have either left the division or company…. But it is ridiculous how he’s able to hold that favorable spot mostly due to inactivity while these other people are fighting it out.

Like you said, no current top ten wins but also only one current top 15 win!

To this day, his most impressive win is over RDA, and we all know how that went at the end. Did he survive Usman the second time? Sure. But the amount of hype this guy has from solely being a shallow-brained heel for money is staggering.

Uncle Chael should teach him some more charisma.

  10. Khamzat is officially moving up to 185. No more 170

I don’t think Usman lets Leon stand for much of this fight. I’m rooting for Leon but I think we get 5 rounds of what we seen for the first 22 minutes of the last fight

  13. This fight not being 5 rounds is a war crime

I’d rather see that than Colby. Colby has only beat Masvidal, Woodley and Lawler in the last 5 years. Dude has not been active enough or beat anyone decent in a long time. Next title shot needs to be Belal or Burns and give Colby whoever doesn’t get the shot.

  23. HOLY SHIT.

    BELAL VS SHAVKAT NEXT

Great card. Honestly wouldn’t have been surprised at a draw in the main event with that point deduction but I think they made the right call there. Usman fought well but he spent a lot of time standing there getting kicked which sort of surprised me.

Hope Belal/Shavkat is 5 rounds. Giving the timing of everything I can only guess that Usman maybe fights the winner of Burns/Masvidal?
