Frank Ocean, Sufjan Stevens, and the Cure are probably my biggest 3. I do feel like I have to see Foo Fighters at some point as well, even though I'm only casually a fan. SZA, Joni Mitchell also come to mind

After a solid decade of wasting too much money on festivals around the world…my list has gotten pretty small..

    Daft Punk
    REM
    Oasis
    Geseffalstein
    The Prodigy
    Silverchair

  4. ALT/MSC/FAN

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

Oh yeah, The Cure and RATM for me too

Oh yeah, oh yeah, everything is terrible.

I miss Riot Fest in Toronto so much- got to see The Cure, The Prodigy, Circa Survive for the first time, and so many other good things I would not have otherwise :(

I've been lucky enough to see a lot of bands I've wanted to see live (outside of artists I've gotten into more recently), but there are ones that unfortunately could never happen at this point like OG Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Screaming Trees, REM, Van Halen:

    Deftones
    Weezer
    Hum
    Slowdive
    Ride
    Wild Nothing
    Beach Fossils
    Emma Ruth Rundle
    Title Fight (never happening)
    The Hotelier

The only ones left on my bucket list are really…

    No Doubt
    Good Charlotte
    Bowling for Soup
    Green Day
    Limp Bizkit
    Rancid
    AFI

All bands I grew up with, and most of them probably seem easily attainable/feasible to most people here, but it’s always been a combination of a) a band not coming to Canada all that often, and when they did I just couldn’t make it work for whatever reason, b) a band not actually being legally allowed into Canada, or c) health problems I dealt with for years that have thankfully been resolved now that prevented me from being able to go.

I’ve seen the large majority of bands over the years that I’ve really wanted to (RATM being a huge one for me last year), and I’m determined to knock these ones off while I still can.

I don't really know if I have a bucket list for artists and I'm worried that any artist I put on it would ultimately be underwhelming as they are theoretically well past their prime.

To jump on what some of you had said - Tool, RATM, No Doubt are great choices.

I really want to know what’s holding up a No Doubt reunion. They would do massive numbers right now.

Gwen keeps trying to position a new solo album but the pre-singles all flopped. Can you imagine if summer 2024 Blink and No Doubt revisited their co-headlining tour and did a stadium tour? That would do insanely well.

As of this year, the last active band still on my bucket list is Bane.

Some others who I’d like to see but haven’t include Pinkshift, Foo Fighters, RATM, Camp Trash. But if I died today, the only band I’d really regret not seeing would be Bane.

I think Gwen’s the only one holding them back. The rest of the guys are all still homies and hang out from time to time, but Gwen is really on it with her solo stuff

I don’t have many left and am marking off a few this year… New Order(tonight), Paramore, The Cure, Metallica, and Depeche Mode.

White Zombie I’m shocked haven't reunited ever and they’d be one on my list.
Rammstein, Pearl Jam, Kacey Musgraves, FKA Twigs, and Frank Ocean is all I really have left.

I agree that $50 to see The Cure in 2023 is a great deal. I'm not even mad at the fees in and of themselves, but I think when it's broken down and people can see how much the base price is and how much is going to fees, it gets frustrating.

I mean, it'd be like if every time you bought something a $50 item from Amazon it showed you that Bezos made $45 and his employee made 12 cents and the factory worker in China made even less. We all know that's how it works, but seeing it right in front of your face makes it feel worse.

I guess arguments could be made either way. It might be better if they just said the ticket was $50 and didn't tell you how much went to who, but others might appreciate the transparency.

After the "Meg's a bad drummer" discourse this week (over a decade after they broke up lol), I doubt she won't want to deal with any bullshit like this again.

Jack White always throws in White Stripes songs at his solo shows. I don’t think it’ll happen.

A lot like Rob Zombie, he plays White Zombie songs live, has said he just has no desire to do it.
