I was embarrassed to post this when y’all were talking about how football / chorus.fm can be unhealthy but here it goes.

I just take it too personally when people think I’m making a silly argument. Idk why I do that but I do.

I always gotta *PROVE* that I’m making sense and what I’m saying is valid. For some reason it twists me up inside when I feel like I’m making a good argument that is getting laughed off or not listened to, even when I’m among friends and I SHOULD know it’s not that deep if y’all don’t see where I’m coming from

That part I don’t do on “purpose” - but is more of a trap I keep falling into. The recent argument about the cap has made me realize figuring out what triggers that is probably my #1 goal right now in therapy. Because I be getting into arguments that make me look bad and I’m gettin too old to care that much.

As much as I still think what I think about the cap, it’s not the content that matters it’s how I approach the disagreement. I’m sorry that I turned a silly discussion into a serious argument with whatever insecurities I keep projecting onto y’all in this thread. Gonna keep working on that.
