Yea I just meant they can’t even bother to promote it…in AC. Especially when Brett has said they are getting paid for full fledged GCW shows.

Looks like Blackbear isn’t playing any shows this year according to his twitter post, so there’s one headliner out :/

He has to take as much money before declaring bankruptcy on May 4th

Wow. How big is the discount?

In the unlikely event this actually happens, I wouldn’t mind going Saturday and Sunday for under $100 total. Not a bad price to pay to see Limp, Finch, Saosin, Boys Like Girls, Say Anything, Spill Canvas and Valencia.

The way people are posting on IG I feel like you can probably get a weekend pass for under 100 at this point

$279 is still way too much for this lineup lol but definitely more reasonable.

I think the damage is done though. Maybe if tickets were $279 from the jump they would’ve moved plenty more tickets, but I think at this point the bad taste in everyone’s mouth is not going away

The codes are obvious that this isn’t doing well and he once again went back on those people that bought the early bird that this would be the absolute cheapest the tickets would ever be.

Rick Ross is playing at the Prudential Center in New Jersey one week before this festival.

Sorry, I just love to point out how terrible a promoter John D is. How do you not have a radius clause preventing that!

(BTW before he goes off saying "look an arena act!" I should note that this is a package tour with TI, Gucci Mane and French Montana also on the bill).

At this point you could tell me multiple artists are gonna walk offstage at Bamboozle and immediately go play a free block party like a mile from the festival and I’d believe it

So, I'm reading that the ticket resale market is finally up and running.

...But Bamboozle takes a 20% cut of the sales or something to that effect?!!

The ScamboozleFest Instagram account. They've been documenting all sorts of weird shenanigans. Most of it is discussed here well before it hits the IG (and TBH, calling a lot of this a "scam" is kind of overkill, but this very much falls into that category).

I can't imagine why anyone would blindly buy tickets to this shit but, damn, what an awful time for $400 + fees

The kind of person who would blindly buy tickets to this is probably pretty similar to the kind of person who lost their minds over the WWYF line-up, TBH. Only a bit more localized to the northeast. The way they initial sold/promoted the festival was essentially, "the Bamboozle you know and love is back! EMO, BABY!" It was presented as a "return to our roots" sorta thing.

Attendance was lackluster the last year of the festival but... Not many people knew that. So there's no real reason why people would doubt it. Particularly the type of person who sits in the emo "not a phase" eco-chamber online and still can't shut up about the first time they moshed during a Taking Back Sunday set at Warped Tour in like, 2008.

Man I really didn't think this could get much worse. Interested to see if there was some sort of EULA that was signed for the original ticket purchase

It's just beyond truly shitty to say "you can re-sell it, no problem" without disclosing that you can do it... With a 20% fee. That's a pretty big cut. Big enough that it should have been laid out at first.

Man the social media comments still are insane! People are angry! I really don’t see how this fest still takes place. They haven’t addressed Blackbear canceling at all, the price drop, tickets disappeared, change in ticketers, going to be an interesting weekend if they go through with this thing.

Are they doing the NFT tickets? I wonder if gives them some sort of a loophole not to fully refund buyers in case it's cancelled.

Break bands have been given permission to sell tickets for even cheaper $79 for Friday, $89 for sat or sun. Sold via Eventbrite btw.
