Yeah I can’t see Jones getting up for anyone other than Stipe or Francis.

Lots to play out in the coming months. Francis needs to get something booked so that all this is worth it and if Jones beats Stipe everyone will be begging for Jones/Francis.

  2. Aljo/Henry confirmed for 288

Me too: as dominant as Yan seemed, he’s begun to slip up in the fan’s eyes so I think he’s coming for blood, and Merab is no pushover.

I also love to watch Volkov fight because he’s just plain scary.

Haha I cannot stand Volkov. At least tonight wasn’t a main event though. Next time probably will be since he won tonight.

So if Merab wins and then Aljo wins, does Aljo go up to FW?

Aljo faces O’Malley and Merab probably faces winner of Vera/Sandhagen.

  8. Merab bores the shit out of me. He's great but it's like spamming takedowns in a UFC game.

I get that. Super impressive performance but I wasn’t seeing a finish coming ever.

I think if he gets his striking up to par with his wrestling like we saw happen with Usman, he’s gonna be the division nightmare.

He set the record for takedown shots in a single UFC fight. While I’m usually not thrilled about grapple heavy fighters, he fights to finish instead of laying and Yan was giving them up so easy. Couldn’t blame him for continuing to do it when it was working so well.

Merab's gas tank is so wild. Completely drowned Yan. Incredible performance all around.

  15. He failed a drug test. Suspended for a year. Badr Hari bout ruled a no contest

How could Reem do something like this.

Glory drug tested both Badr Hari and Alistair Overeem, true galaxy brain moment.

Did anyone test his supply of horse meat? It was probably contaminated.

  20. It never ends eh

if Stipe isn’t fighting him then I’m not really sure what they do. Winner of Pavlovich/Blaydes probably won’t be ready by then

Hot take, Stipe doesn't deserve the fight anyway and I'd be fine with him not taking it.

  22. did he piss hot? lol

  23. Yesterday he claimed that he only needed “two positive tests” before fighting Chandler. USADA came out today and said that was absolutely not the case and they need him in the pool for six months (which he still hasn’t entered)

There’s precedent for him to get favorable treatment. They did it with Brock before the Hunt fight. But it seems USADA is pushing against it

  24. Because he’s 100% on steroids rn or was using PEDs heavily over the last year. Which I think is whatever for recovery because his injury was pretty bad

But dudes piss would melt a cup rn

He lost to Uber Ngannou in the rematch and took a bad knockout from a knockout artist. He beat DC twice in a row, definitively before that, and has the most heavyweight title defenses in the division’s history. Who could possibly be more deserving or even as interesting other than Ngannou himself?
