That’s way too recent for me. Yikes.

Yeah, the lyrics are a bit juvenile. No disagreement there. Love the melodies though.

With their various reunion shows, The Matches basically retconned "Say 18," which *really* didn't age very well at all. Shawn basically apologized for it, but they begrudgingly played it for their album shows.

Now, the song isn't on Spotify with the E. Von Dahl album, so I have to assume they just figured that was enough and gave it the boot. That, IMO, is the preferred way to handle this sort of thing (embarrassing song subject matter you wrote when you were a kid).

I never got into the Matches. But based on that title, sounds like a big ol yikes. I’ll check out the lyrics shortly. But it’s interesting they took it off Spotify.

and with them pretty much writing it when they were DIY teens and self-produced their debut album, I imagine there wasn't anyone around to say "uhh, maybe no."

Looks like more dates are dropping shortly. His Facebook page added an Orlando show for July. Looks like Camp Wilderness has a presale starting in an hour or so. I’m guessing the date list will be announced soon.

Sorry, just two dates. Orlando and Atlanta.
I’m a member of CW, which apparently doesn’t send emails when the site is updated lol.

So I caved and joined CW. Is there a code I am missing? I just see a link to his site. I just really want to make sure I get a ticket.

And now ticket secured. Never thought I’d see TSL again now that I live in Florida. I see this show on a Friday, see Yellowcard on Saturday, and then Fall Out Boy Tuesday.

Weird he chose them again after bringing them out on tour in 2019.
