Is there a secret AZ show I should be holding out for or is my ass going to have to travel

Is it worth flying out to Red Rocks for a show? Always looks epic. Just wondering if logistically it is a hassle for those that have been.

Haven’t seen a show there but I’ve been to the venue, definitely worth it and didn’t seem like a hassle. Hopefully one day I can make it to an actual show.

Kinda bummed about the lack of an AZ date but hopefully that's just temporary

Wonder if the the "headliner" will play a little longer each night, or if it's just equal length sets regardless. Can't wait. Curious to know what the VIP price looks like. Strange that it doesn't include any type of early entry.

After my first playthrough, I thought it was a really cool sound that reminded me of RAGC. I think it's cool he released the EP as a Manchester project. His interview in AP does a deep dive. I love when bands get this far into their career and meander all over with sounds. Feels like Thrice is in a similar spot.

Not a hassle whatsoever and well worth it.

I think I said it once and half in jest, but the band considers it an album, so in my mind that's what it is.

I agree! I see it as a “mini” album. In all the interview stuff on Thursday night they never referred to it as an ep.

  17. All EPs are albums, not all albums are EPs. This is an EP.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

i’ve been meaning to tell you

i mean, depends on how you define "hassle." the denver airport is 45 minutes from downtown denver, which is another 30 or so from red rocks. parking is free at the venue, or there are shuttles where you can buy tickets from certain bars/restaurants in denver. depending on where you park, you might have to walk up to a mile to your seat uphill at 6,500ft. the sound is great if you're sitting in the first 40 or so rows, but can get kinda shaky if you're higher up when it's windy.

I'm clocking it as an EP, and I wish more artists would put out releases at this length with this many songs. I don't often feel like EPs are very cohesive. Usually, they are a collection of songs between albums or odds and ends that didn't make records. This has a very clear through line. The way it was described in an interview was the end note on a trilogy of releases and that concept was really working for me.

Perhaps LPs are the EPs we made along the way
