Best Pop Punk "Comeback" Single

Figured it would be fun to stir some shit up. Vote for your favorite.

Four staples of the scene all had comebacks from various time away, all had a lot of hype, but which lead single is the best?

 

I like all of these quite a bit, but I gotta go FOB.

 

Edging beating MCR makes me sad

Tempted to vote MCR but I haven't even listened to that song since the month it came out. It's FOB

 

MCR > Paramore > FOB > Blink

I like them all decently enough, but there’s a big gap between the first half and second half of the rankings

 

I was most hyped for MCR but have listened to FOB the most

 

I remember the time and place when I heard Foundations for the first time.

Hearing it live is all time moment.

 

I wish I liked the MCR song, never came around to it

 

FOB > blink > Paramore > MCR for me here

Voted for FOB because it’s probably my favorite of the bunch, but it could’ve easily been MCR too

This Is Why and Foundations of Decay really fought it out for me, gave the slight edge to This Is Why

Other two don't even come close tbh, Love From the Other Side is fun though

Love the first three and just like blink. I would have taken the FOB song over the Paramore one originally though, I've just spent more time with the Paramore song since the album's already come out.

Paramore and it's not close

 

Fall Out Boy’s my favorite band, but This Is Why is an undeniable BOP. The MCR and blink tracks are not particularly good- I don’t think either would even land on anybody’s radar if they weren’t by bands they already liked.

 

Counterpoint: the MCR song is among their best and is wonderfully produced and arranged.
