Really good question. It's been interesting to see deathcore start to pass up less-accessible metalcore in popularity (so, excluding bands like Bad Omens). I hope a few bands can get to Lamb of God/Killswitch level

That’s an interesting combo, but sounds fun! Would love to see CC at some point

I can see this tour happening but it’s kind of an odd one. I feel like JEW is bigger than MO, but MO feels too big to be an opener for them.

If this is legit, I think it'll be billed as a co-headline, but JEW playing last every night

I think this double bill is perfect for like 6k theaters, but if it's a summer tour I'm totally expecting them to book all ampitheaters.

Yeah this is def a summer amphitheater tour. CC does these almost every summer

I haven't done the work to see if their schedules line up but the first band that came to mind is the Front Bottoms.

    Hasn’t a MO/TFB tour happened before?

I think they both played Champagne Jam (or whatever its called) but I'm not sure they toured together. I could be wrong tho - it's been known to happen.

Maybe a new tradition of a MO/TFB tour happening every 5 years will be established lol

  14. JEW/MO is a great tour. Hope they get Pool Kids or Future Teens or another cool young band to open.

Counting Crows / Dashboard is also really neat. That's a great way to spend a summer night at an amphitheater.

Counting Crows/Dashboard Confessional is interesting because Twin Forks opened up for Counting Crows in 2015 on their Canadian Tour.

I've seen August Burns Red 7 times now in Portland since 2015. 6/7 were headlining shows, 5 of which were at the same venue (started in 2016, last show attended was this year). At a certain point these bands seem like they're stuck in this venue limbo of too big for the clubs but too small to go to the next size up. So it's a choice of does every tour sell out but you remain in the same venue, or do you have half empty venues?
