34. Straight. From CASHVILLE. Just here to have a good time and maybe a little extra ;)

 

almost 30 with no kids. I work closer to venues than where I live so I just change in to what I'm wearing to the show before I leave work and take a nap in my car. I usually go to sleep at 9 and I have to get up at 5 for my morning commute so I'd prefer shows to end by 10 or 10:30 so I can get home before midnight but that usually doesn't happen. shows ending late has never been a deterrent for me since I can function on little sleep and I don't drink.

 

I need them to hold off a few more weeks before going on sale lol

Grain of salt but supposedly The Cure tour is being announced tomorrow.
Start in New Orleans again on 5/8, traveling across the south and southwest. Hollywood Bowl on 5/24 and 5/25. Vancouver June 1st. Makes its way eastward and NYC will be June 21st and 22nd. Maryland on the 25th , Charlotte the 26th and ends in Miami again end of June.
Bunch of dates in between such as Denver, SLC, Portland, Phillly, Boston, Kansas City, Chicago etc.

Would absolutely travel to Chicago for The Cure.

 

After living in Chicago for 3 years, wherw most shows end by 10pm (including festivals), I must say it was really nice with shows ending not at that time. Coming back to Mexico City where shows end around 11.30-midnight and festivals by 1am, its hard to keep with the stamina at 29.

Also being able to commute on public transit after a show was really nice too, in comparison I have to leave on the last song of a show to catch the last subway train in here

Foxy shazam?

 

I am in my mid-30s, married with 2 kids and live 40 minutes away from most CLE venues but I MUCH prefer weeknight shows to weekend shows. Don’t mind a late show either, actually prefer it because I rarely catch the opener (unless I am into them) so I don’t leave my house til 8/830 pm so I still spend a ton of time with my family that night before leaving.

(I go to most shows solo)

 

Oof, not stoked that it’s at the Hollywood Bowl on a weeknight, but I might just have to suck it up this one time

Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, not even on Soundrink's site. I just chaned the artist name in the url and it was there lol

 

Parent gang. Ideally i can eat dinner with the fam and tuck the kid in bed before the show so, an 8 to midnight show works for me.

One thing about parents of young children is that we know how to operate on little sleep.

Id agree foxy shazam wouldnt fit stylistically, but I literally saw on r/vinylreleases on reddit right before I saw that post that Foxy Shazam announced 2 releases on vinyl. So they may be active touring wise soon

 

most likely won’t be foxing as they said a few months ago that they wouldn’t be playing shows for “the foreseeable future” but who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

The cool thing about foxy Shazam is there’s not really anyone I can’t see them touring with
