they are, without a doubt, the most enjoyable band for me in that scene. especially the latest releases they’ve had since leaving Rise, they just have improved so much. i am so happy to see they’re still kicking every time they are announced for a tour.

I hope The Cure plays somewhere remotely close to me. It’s been 15 years since I’ve seen them and I’m itching to see them again.

Yeah it’s kind of ironic how many men are on that lineup

From a Sargent House tweet, its just a few dates for Converge and Brutus to play between Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple

Im not too familiar with Pierce the Veil, but I looked it up and they havent played NYC since 2016, where they headlined at a venue that holds 3,600 people.

7 years not coming to the city, and tagging along with another big act, makes you wonder why they would book a 3.5k venue. 2 nights is cool, but I'm surprised they didn't just book one of the many bigger outdoor venues instead.

Soundrink has dates listed for Saves the day performing can't slow down and in reverie in full. Can't find a flyer or announcement for this

Depends on the genre but I’m saying hard pass, much prefer the energy during a night or late night performance.

Some of the best performances I’ve ever seen have been heightened by their time slot. Nine Inch Nails going on stage at 1am for their Bonnaroo set was magical.

With indoor venues, for sure. Outdoor venues are a bit tricky because the sun/weather can be brutal in the daytime, especially for artists playing a stadium. Plus you lose some of the cool effects/production values that only look good at night. Coldplay's wristband thing would be useless.
