it was a fine anecdote and all but ya gotta realize that ronnie is one of the dudes that is just persona non grata on this board due to his past actions

to the people that have gone to the Pup/Joyce Manor shows, is there another opener, or just the 2 bands?

Pool Kids opened the Austin date on Friday. I'd assume they are on the whole tour

Pool Kids opened, they’re on the whole thing. I was very impressed with them not knowing anything going in.

American Football opening for the 1975 is not something I'd ever thought I'd see.

Hotels are booked. Probably get airfare later this week. Going to hit up Norwich and London, going to suck setting a 4am alarm Wednesday. Skipping Cardiff due to location and get the chance to do some touristy things in London

Woah I guess I was oblivious to how big Funeral For A Friend is in the UK.

Well... They are from the UK. They were probably the biggest Emo band from the UK and they went on a break for a long time.

I remember FFAF having some minor success with their 2005 album in the US but have forgotten about them since.

Not sure if you are UK based but Norwich is very difficult to get to. Leeds or Manchester would be much easier to do with London.

Same. Hopefully that means they're playing out some more this year. I'm glad Steve is back - it was tough to imagine AF without him.

I'm thinking of doing the Cardiff show this time simply due to it being their home base so to speak. I am shocked how big this venue is though. And yes, they are huge in the UK and I am very shocked about DC opening.

It was an incredible experience flying over for 2 of the London shows last year, it feels so wild to consider doing it again.
