New Scowl track is better than the last one but it feels like two songs combined into one

 

I prefer the cleans much more than her screams

excited to check out this Zulu album later I didn’t even know it was dropping

 

New Zulu LP is great overall. Goes hard as expected. Some of jarring cuts from heavy moments to samples/spoken word/interludes which usually isnt my thing but luckily they're done well here. Just a few too many for me personally.

 

Creeping Death vocalist and guitar player doing some "adjacent" stuff

 

Zulu record is really good. My only small complaint was that I thought it was a bit repetitive or formulaic in the first half with the samples at the end of a hard song. Back half (at least) really did it for me. That was a nice journey. Excited to see where they go with this cycle.

 

This is so damn good.

 

I need to spend more time with it. I really liked a lot of it, but a lot of those samples and side journeys took me out of it. Not necessarily in a bad way, mind you, just in a way I haven't wrapped my head around yet.

 

The samples and spoken world made it an even more special record. Hard as fuck but beautiful and soul searching.

 

That spoken word track was one of my favorite parts of the record.
