    Based on my Letterboxd scores:
    1. Parasite (if it counts)

    6. The Killing of a Sacred Deer
    7. The Thing

  4. Not sure if this is a good wow or a bad wow, but I'll take it lol

Some recents on there for sure but my rule of thumb is, if I've watched it more than twice and it's still sticking that 5-star landing for me (Pearl, Skinamarink), it's fair game. Good mix of cozy watches, films I feel exemplify the genre, and films that genuinely scare me.

  5. Parasite at number one is interesting, I have no idea how to classify that film. In fact, Aliens and Mandy would absolutely make my top 10 films but they're so out there genre-wise that I wound up not including them in mine

  6. I think I'd limit mine to American films of the 21st century because that's all I'm familiar with haha...

Yeah its an incredible film that definitely has some horror elements in the end, but doesn't feel like a horror film in totality. Still, one of the best movies I've ever seen.

Saw Cocaine Bear last night and ok ok it was a fun time. Still, I left the theater more taken with the Evil Dead Rise trailer. It literally gives me goosebumps and I absolutely cannot wait to see it opening night

So interesting to see when a director remakes their own film. I really remember enjoying Last Shift.
