I dig the band's vibe but the songs just don't do it anymore for me which is sad because they were my favorite band all the way through Evil Friends which is one of my favorite albums ever.

 

I kinda dig this song but also it feels like they wrote about 30 seconds of music/lyrics and just repeated it a few times to get to a (barely) respectable length

 

Yeah when there's a longer verse halfway in I was like, oh is this the first actual verse?

 

In the Mountains was the last album I really liked. It's a shame because everything before that is truly legendary.

 

As someone who is not a fan of one-off singles, I'm a little bummed that "What Me Worry" doesn't have a place on this.

 

This definitely leans into the side of Portugal that I kind of dislike. Excited nonetheless.

 

I understand they are more pop leaning. But 6 years for this. Cmon bro

Agreed. I'll always check out their new stuff, but it hasn't hit the same since In the Mountains. New song is just.. not good.

 

I hung on through Evil Friends but everything from Woodstock on has just paled in comparison to their early years (for me at least). I revisited Waiter -> Satanist just recently and man, they had ambition from the get-go. Censored Colors still goes real hard and is probably my favorite
