It’s super unfortunate. Idk if the Woodley loss is to blame or not. Even though he was outclassed, he didn’t walk away from that fight heavily damaged. But he never showed up to the octagon the same fighter again.

 

Was listening to a podcast and a few people have said Jones looks super bloated in person and pretty heavy in the gut. Doesn’t look leaned out at all.

 

Seems like Till also just needs to do a lot of work in his personal life as well which is apparently why he asked to be let out of his contract.

How does BKFC afford these fighters? Does anyone actually pay for this shit? It’s now included in Fite+ so they can’t be making that much money except for the live gate.

 

John Dodson alluded to BKFC having some type of involvement with the Saudis awhile back. I’m not sure if that’s through the company that owns the majority of BK now or not.

Mendes/Paige VZ/Perry/MVP have all claimed they’ve made well into the six digits for fights. No way it’s profitable

 

All of these current organizations seem to have the same business model. They shell out TONS of money on ex-UFC stars solely for their name value until they are completely washed up and then seem to pay everyone else poorly. I also don't really know how profitable any of these organizations like BKFC or Bellator are, but they all seem content sweeping up former UFC fighters.

I legitmately don’t know what to expect from the main event. Jon didn’t look good in his last two fights at 205. If he wrestles Gane, he should take it but I wouldn’t be surprised if Gane just outstrikes him to a decision

 

Very excited for tonight! We are spoiled with some great fights the next month. Hoping Gane takes it, but if he hasn’t improved his takedown defense/grappling I see Jones taking it in a potentially boring fight.

 

I feel like Jones easily beats him with wrestling, but like with a lot of his previous fights, he’ll be too proud to actually do it and will try to win the standup battle lol.
