Rudiger just used a brilliant dive to get Correa sent off mere minutes after trying to dive for a penalty. Amazing shithousery.

Saliba has regained his form now, it seems. Out defence is finally back on it.

Oh wow, Madrid got away with a clear penalty because the player they fouled fell into the ball with his hand.

Im thrilled the season has returned. I think the east will be very competitive this year. Im curious to see how Rooney will do as manager for DC.

    hmmm

I fancy myself in our backline or midfield at the moment.

  12. Apple’s MLS broadcast picture quality is so good. The clearest sports broadcast I’ve seen. Just like the baseball games they did last year. Glad that quality carried over to MLS.

Super late answer but my guess is this, there are majority owned now by Mahou-San Miguel. MSMG is founded and I think maybe still based in Madrid. I wonder if that is what is playing into it?

Must be some integration between the marketing arms of both then. My guess is there is a Atleti or Real fan or fans somewhere in that process lol.

  21. Definitely thought one slipped through in the last 90 seconds, was a nail biter. Would've been happy with the draw obviously but thrilled to get the first W right out of the gate. Next Sat is gonna be a lot of fun, I live about a mile from the new stadium

Love seeing Christian Benteke and Mateusz Klich both scoring for DC United in their season opening victory. Rooney 100% so far this season.

Also stoked Orlando got the three pts tonight. NYRB have always been a pain on the ass for us.

Bundesliga is really interesting this season. Schalke and Hertha picking up wins makes the relegation battle very close and between about 5 teams. Then at the top, Bayern need to beat Union to draw level with Dortmund.

A couple of leagues like PL, Serie A, Eredivisie, and Bundesliga with unexpected leaders coming in to March.

Real Madrid got a red yesterday for what Kulu just did with his elbow.
