So it's the equivalent of 7 regular season games. That's one less game than Kassian got for accidentally slashing Gagner.

If you hit someone in the face on accident but there is an injury you'll get suspended longer than if you were to take an intentional swing at someone's face but not do lasting damage. Great fucking job DoPS.

I don't even have a Canadian team to root for in the playoffs haha

    Bringin the ruckus

Just catching up on this thread after finally joining the new site today and this caught my attention. I wanted to argue against this vehemently but unless there's a miracle and somehow Ben Bishop carries the team on his back even more the realist in me knows it's true.

Not rooting against them by any means, but yeah. I'd be surprised if they made it out of the second round.

Ducks are 12-1-1 in the last 14 games they've heard both National Anthems played... neat little stat. Also, love the quick goals in the first minute this and last game. Canucks look tired.

We got the win, that's all that matters...just need to get healthy and playoff ready

Preds are going to officially clinch tonight, thanks to a Barry Trotz coached team.

Yikes, Anaheim. How do you lose to the Utica Comets?

If Keith was a repeat offender like Torres he probably would have gotten more time. That high stick could have been career ending. Fucking NHL justice system is horrible.

    Hawks fan here.

Was really expecting more for Keith. He honestly deserved more. Intent was clear.

    Can't wait for playoffs.

Except he's totally a repeat offender. See his slash to Corey Perry's face. It's like Chris Simon on Ryan hollweg bad.

    Edit: slashed Carter not Perry.

He slashed Perry? Or are you thinking of Carter?

    Etem's revenge haha

To be fair Ducks were missing half of their defense and the offense of Rakell and Perron.

Sorry Carter. Thanks for catching that.

Honestly if you play the Kings in round 1 it's a distinct possibility.

Yeah, just hate this streak lately of everyone going down lately with injuries, illnesses, or dumbass suspensions. At this point I just want a couple of games for Crow to get back in net and get a feel before the playoffs.

panarin's points (bonus) watch is what will give me the most anxiety though for the rest of the season, back up to 11th in points

    Takes a Bit More

DoP safety almost never gets it right. I'm not surprised at this. What he did was criminal, but it happened during a sporting event so no serious consequences. Keith could have taken his eye out.

    Fun must be always. Prestigious

Sharks lose tonight and they are locked into that 3rd seed.

Predators lose tonight and they are locked into a wild card seed.

I guess I'm rooting for a Rinne shut out.

    Yes. You're a good man!

  24. Sounds like Hutton is the likely starter, but regardless, I need Neal and Weber to have big games for me today, please.
