Yeah the last two seasons of B99 really weren't great unfortunately

I did not care for most of the 30 Rock episodes that had Will Forte trying to be Jenna or anything involving Tracy’s wife.

Quick comment on The Office and specifically Robert California who seems to really divide fans into the camp of love the character or hate it. I always liked the character but there is a small, small one-off not-really-joke line in one of the episodes that I absolutely love and I utilize anytime an awkward situation present itself.

I think he’s talking to Jim and Jim says something like, “sorry this must be making you uncomfortable” and Robert calmly replies with, “I’m never uncomfortable”. And let me tell you from experience of using that line - it will fucking melt brains! I have literally said that to coworkers before a brutal meeting. I once said it to my manager who tried to throw me under the bus and I didn’t meet an imaginary deadline and right before we went into the meeting they apologized half-heartedly and said, “I’m coming in there with you to make it a little more tolerable, they won’t be so angry if I’m there” and I turned and looked her dead in the eye and said, “no need, I’m never uncomfortable.” And she stood there dumbfounded. It’s so much fun and weirdly kind of helps me get through those kinds of moments and situations.

Superstore deserves mentioning in the same space as all these others

Does it? I watched it and thought it was fine, but there's very little remarkable about it

  10. I think Superstore has a bit of powering through to get to the good parts, but it really came into its own in the back half. If I hadn’t been super sick on the couch for a few days with absolutely nothing better to do I might not have continued past the first season

It’s been so long since I last tried watching 30 Rock, is it a show that uses a lot of cultural / pop culture references from the time of each season? I believe Community was/is like that as well and because I have no knowledge of a lot of that stuff I didn’t even bother trying to watch Community because I knew most of the jokes would be lost on me.

I'm a sitcom girlie so I enjoy most of what's being discussed. I'm gonna be honest tho seinfeld is hit or miss for me so far. I tend to like the episodes where they're just confined to one set/area like when they get lost in the parking garage or when they're waiting for their table at a restaurant. But I think I'm only a few seasons in

Seinfeld-The Simpsons-The Larry Sanders show is the triumvirate for me. I know Flight of the Conchords isn't a great show but I think about it a lot.

I just started 30 Rock and I am forcing myself to watch The Handmaid's Tale and was going to do Atlanta next. I'll add Party Down to after that.

I don't think I like most things because like the fans seem to be so annoying and won't shut up about how everything they like is a fucking masterpiece.

I've always had this problem. Like I see people talk about The Last Of Us being a video game masterpiece and the show being based off "the best story in video game history" and like it irks me for some reason. I don't know why. I want to get over it.
