Listening to the PFF Podcast talk about how idiotic Carolina's coaching staff has been this year makes me happy. They kept single coverage on Julio Jones (not even with their best corner) and refused to adjust even after he torched them in the first quarter. They expected a guy who has never played outside corner in his career and two rookies to keep up with the best receiver in the league with no help or double teams. Morons.

 

Going to be so pissed if the Browns miss the playoffs due to that fumble. Goodell has to go.

 

I remember everyone crapping on me because I traded down to take Zack martin instead of odb and everyone disagreed but odb looks like exactly who I thought he would be this year. He cant separate from guys the way he did his first two years, maybe he was on peds (kidding)

Eagles could conceivably go 5-0 since their next two games are the Lions and Redskins.

They have a tough stretch though with Vikings, Cowboys, Giants, Falcons, Seahawks, Packers.

 

The Eagles conceivably could go 4-0. I refuse to look ahead.

While this is true, my point is you're normally way off. The Eagles and Vikings are pretty much even, the Vikings do have the better secondary though. Without AP it's gonna be tough for the Vikings to open up anything against that Eagles front 7. Besides Carolina they really haven't been tested on the road.

 

I'd probably pick Minnesota by 4 pts.

No disrespect to the Eagles, moreso out of respect for the Vikings. It'll be a battle for sure.

 

I mean since everyone has dogged on the Eagles for who they played, can't we do the same for the Vikings ? They haven't beaten anybody besides GB. I'm not counting Carolina because they haven't looked good at all.

 

I would probably have the vikings losing to the eagles, but that's because it's on the road.

I'm really not normally way off hahaha but okay. You can take one example of me thinking a rookie QB is going to lose his first game (usually a safe bet) but that's not a good representation at all.

 

I do not think the teams are similar on paper. Minnesota having the better secondary is actually a big deal, and honestly? Their front 7 is better too.
