Meet Me @ the Altar – “Kool” Video

It's only February but I know that will be the worst chorus I've heard all year

 

I was so excited about this band but feel with each song they release they are sliding further and further away from what made them so fun to begin with. This track is boring, bordering on annoying, and the video is equally bad.

That chorus is a tough listen.

 

you know what, i quite like the chorus but it was a bit of a slog to get there and nothing interesting happened around it

 

This...is not for me. And that's okay of course. But it is such a departure from their debut stuff that made them stand out that I wonder if (and truly hope) this is the kind of sound they want to play around with. I just can't imagine being that talented with the riffs and not using them.

I kept waiting for the aforementioned chorus, and then I realized I was 1:37 into the song and it was almost over. Maybe there’s a market for low energy pop punk!

 

This. I was really expecting an easycore revival from them and it feels like they've taken the easy (pun intended) route for that album.

 

The debut and Say It are both too good to be random bolts of lightning, compared to this. I hope more stuff like that is on the record.
