Yeah it was huge. They still play free county fairs in my area though haha

 

I think AAR are long due for a big summer headliner, that bill is awesome.

 

I heard through the grapevine it was:

DRI

Mostly playing state fairs, county fairs, and livestock arenas.

I’ve never seen TGUK or AAR, so I’d be very in on that tour package if it comes anywhere near me.

 

if Motion City Soundtrack are touring, hopefully it's for the "I Am The Movie" 20th anniversary

 

I could see them trying to up the ante with this tour and try and get each band to do an album play.

and idk about The Get Up Kids… I’d say either On A Wire or Guilt Show, but I don’t think those would be appealing album plays. Unless they wanted to jump the gun and do Something To Write Home About

Hell yeah all them bands deserve at least 45-50 min

 

If AAR did an album play I think it would be Move Along over self-titled no? I mean I think that one put them into a mainstream spotlight more than S/T.

 

If it’s large venues, this needs to play like Hella Mega and be greatest hits sets. The openers don’t need to waste their 30-45 min sets playing non-hits from whatever album they pick. They all have 30-45+ min of really strong live songs across their discographies.

 

Alright, now that the AAR tour is settled, where the fuck are those Weezer dates

 

That AAR bill does nothing for me.

 

MCS headliner with TGUK as support would be badass

 

I think the last time Weezer did a summer amphitheater tour was with Pixies and The Wombats, so maybe something in that vein again?

That AAR bill could be a blast. But if it's truly an ampitheater run... I don't see myself going. All depends on the venue. If it's in one of the handful of outdoor standing room venues in my vicinity, though? I'm all-in.
