Speaking of miming, I saw Slayyyter open for Tove Lo a few weeks back and, while I'm really straining to have a more modern outlook and not sound like an old man, is it too much to ask for the LEAD vocal to at least be live these days?

Huh, I forgot AJJ are on this thing too. Maybe another leg of that Front Bottoms tour will be a thing

I don't think this was ever shared in here, but here's the supposed 2023 Pitchfork lineup

    Weezer/Billy Talent tour?

Maybe in Canada. Billy Talent can barely fill 600-capacity clubs here

Doubt it’s a thing, but a Weezer/PUP tour would rule

Weezer w/Tegan And Sara actually makes a lot of sense.

Just had this exact thought, haha. They did take the Flatliners out with them at one point up in Canada... Maybe someday!

Really stoked on this! Grabbed ticket to the "Boston" show. It's at a brewery so it'll be a fun one.

Nice! I can’t make it, but Toronto’s date is at a small little pub/tavern. Would be a lot of fun

This would be cool. I’ve wondered about Big Thief as a headliner this year. Also would love to catch Alvvays, Weyes Blood, and Snail Mail.

I’ve got a new reason to hate Ticketmaster I haven’t seen before! I’m trying to sell my blink tickets at MSG to go to Adjacent,& Im now given this wonderful option of selling them BACK to Ticketmaster for $238.25. After fees,I paid $395.70 for these 2 tickets, on Ticketmaster.

Just go on the Blink reddit. All the 3rd party sites take a cut from BOTH the seller and buyer.

That's a good point, I forgot to factor in that some of the older acts that don't sell as many tickets tend to make up for it with the $22 Bud Lights. On the flipside, some of the acts that appeal to younger kids do little to no business at the bar even if they sell more tickets.

I assume upgrading people from the lawn for $10 is less about making revenue and more about not making the place look empty, right?

yep sometimes it isn’t about being full or selling out. It’s the idea that AAR would be guaranteed to see out a 3k-4K venue. So for the same guarantee you would make, try and play a place where maybe you get 5k-8k etc. People were really down a few years ago when Coheed and Mastodon did summer sheds but those shows did like 5k-10k a date with some dates selling lawn tickets.
