TLOU2 is when Ellie finds another pun book and it's a walking simulator of her telling jokes.

there are definitely underground forklift re-cert classes outside of Q-Zones. you simply cannot risk having NO certified forklift operators in society, even a post apocalyptic one. just irresponsible to even consider.

Even the infected respect the laws of forklift safety and stay away from them. I’ve heard that manning a forklift is the safest place you can be in the end times

He was so good as Oberyn Martell. An underrated scene was him and Tywin in the brothel

I didn't realize until a few weeks ago that he played Oberyn. I had no idea who he was when I watched the show, so it just never stuck in my memory and I never pieced it together.

But seriously Part Two becomes straight misery porn. It’s too much. By the end it wasn’t even hitting me because it was just too brutal and depressing. I think they’re dialing back the violence and action a little too much in the show, but I think it’s necessary for when they adapt some of part 2

So I'm def gonna paly TLOU after the season is done (probably not until spring/summer but yeah)....I'm gonna have to decide if I want to play TLOU2 after that or wait until the show again. After knowing the main beats of the story in House of the Dragon, and knowing nothing here, I think I definitely enjoy being in the dark more.

But that description reminds me of Telltale's Walking Dead game. That shit was so bleak haha

Just my take but Last of Us Part 2 is a one of a kind gaming experience and story. No matter how good the show is, it will never be able to quite match the experience of playing that game with no spoilers. Even more so than the first one. The gameplay experience is a part of the story.

I would play the Last of Us 2 as soon as you finish the first game. It’s one of the best, most engrossing video games I’ve ever played and the show, while matching the main beats, will end up being a more grounded, realistic screen version that you can totally still enjoy and be surprised by even if you know the story.

  18. I love the show and I think it's an incredible adaptation, but very few media experiences in my entire life have emotionally affected me as much as the endings of TLOU1 and 2, and I just don't think that can be replicated in any other medium. There's something special about spending so much time literally controlling the characters, exploring, making decisions, succeeding and failing along with them. Video games rule.

This is me and Yoko Taro games (Drakengard and Nier). The medium definitely allows much more than any other adaptation can replicate. So while I'm loving this adaptation I don't think I'm gonna run through a box of Kleenex when next season hits.

So im replaying left behind and there are so many cool moments in it! Sadly a lot will get cut, but for players of 1 and/or 2, but not the DLC, totally worth it!

And having just finished part 2 for the 3rd time, yea its heavy and a lot, but its so damn fun and inventive (the combat), and theres so much story crammed into that i still find new things.
