Pokemon Red and Blue are 18 years old in the US today.

 

I was doing a passerby battle on Omega Ruby yesterday and when the game was showing our stats, it showed that I have hatched 7,900 eggs on that game. Until recently I used my Y cart for shiny breeding, so I switched to that game and did a battle. 23,000+ eggs on there. More than 31,000 eggs over the past few years. I don't know if I should be proud or ashamed.

 

Holy shit. What were your results? Lots of shinys?

 

I think it is around 45 via breeding. This is with the shiny charm on both games, so it works out to be above odds overall.

It took me an hour and half to capture Uxie. That's the longest it ever took me to capture a legendary.

Been playing Blue on the VC and I guess I got super used to the exp share in the recent games. I remember thinking man I feel like I'm cheating using this when I starting playing again. Now here I am spending two hours getting my party to level 12 before I head to Mt Moon.

Torracat is beautiful, too bad that leaked evo just ruins it. Hoping the day/night differences are true and really different.

 

If the leaks are to be believed, I don't think there is a bad choice for final evo. Pop is still the best tho.

I don't like any of the mid evo's but I hardly like any mid evo's.

 

I always dug Wartortle, and I wish that he was on his own so that I could continue to do use him and not need to evolve it. Aside from that, and maybe Quilava and Haunter, the middle evolutions are pretty forgettable.
