Ehh not really, unless I missed something it's just a stripped down version not apart of the live sessions that do rip. Still good but as a fellow apprehension truther don't get your hopes up.

 

I think I'd be lying if I said the "faith" line doesn't help. Way Back is probably my favorite off the record. So call me a hypocrite for begging manchester to go hard again. I just don't know what I want ok???

 

Apparently on patreon they said the record they worked on right now is “harder rock” whatever that means haha.

 

Does that mean more like METN or Cope?

 

Hopefully it means more like puddle of mudd

I dunno, post-grunge seems pretty solid? Seeing as how those bands are invariably who people refer to when they say "butt rock".

Or just rock? I'm not sure why this is difficult.

 

As an enjoyer of butt rock, I completely endorse the term and will go down in the anals of butt rock history defending it

The thing with butt rock is we all know what it means. Post-grunge could be a lot of things. Alt rock is too vague.

 

...Because I assumed the only reason someone would use a term like that would be to make fun of it and I don't really enjoy hearing things I enjoy be pissed on?

I can't imagine why someone would give that name to something they like... I never considered that as a possibility. I mean, who would?

I mean... if you like it and that's what you want to call it, you do you... but this whole thing seems sus.

 

I actually don't think I get it now. What is butt rock supposed to mean anyway? If it's not an insult. Which I guess you're telling me it's not? I'm really fucking confused now.

I mean, post-grunge to me is pretty clear cut. It's bands that use grunge aesthetic but in a commercial fashion, so that could mean Foo Fighters, Shinedown, Seether, Puddle Of Mudd, Bush, Nickelback, Creed... I mean, it is varied, and yet not?
