Man, I need to get some of the recent Envy albums. I have the box set but haven't picked anything up of theirs since Athiests Cornea.

I saw them open for Deafheaven when they were touring New Bermuda in Toronto in 2015. Trust me, if they ever cross the pond again, go see them. It's an experience!

The ISIS box is one of my prized sets in my collection. I bought it off this guy during the pandemic. He lived close by and he came and drove it to my house and we were chatting. Really cool dude and I kept thinking he looked like he was in a band. I found out after that he was the guitarist for Burning Love and was a chef at a pretty popular restaurant in Toronto haha.

 

that’s so sick. I’ve had a bunch of weird run ins like that living in Nashville. So crazy.
