I could have seen Marsch as Southampton's Benitez, following them down to the Championship and rebuilding the team. Odd all round.

 

Southampton likes taking failed managers and giving them another go. They think that this failure allows them to learn and grow, I believe is how they talked about why. Makes sense looking at some of their past managers, looking at you Poch.

Marsch also is used to managing a team full of young players like Southampton have too. Feel like he would have been good fit as well.

 

Haven’t Leeds gone like 33 matches without their top scorer being 90 minute match fit? Think that gets overlooked quite a bit in their current run.

 

Then add that the two strikers behind Bamford are an 18 year old and a 21 year old. That is not conducive to success I would say. Their roster construction confuses the shit out of me to be honest.

 

The USL club here is releasing a new kit when earlier they stated the kits were intended for two year cycles. It honestly might have more to do with a new shirt sponsor. Plus they're the darlings of the kit maker so it makes sense.
