  2. Oh geez. If there was an announcement of that, I missed it. That's a disappointment...

I received an email about the vinyl yesterday and jumped on it because there was a 20% off sale that day. I didn't even imagine that it'd be sold out so quickly. Maybe they'll press more? Amazon had some when I was checking yesterday, but it might be an older pressing. (Not that I knew there was an old pressing at all.)

Seems like 13 in stock still (but again, I don't know any details about the pressing).

The lead up to this one has been super corny. Jason’s decline from clever to cringe has been difficult to watch. I’m sure he thinks he’s channeling some sort of irony, but whatever it is he’s going for feels totally irrelevant to me.

I Feel Like Dancing, coming soon

Jason Mraz - I Feel Like Dancing

The chorus sounds like it might lean too far into his cheesy rap side of things, but we'll see

I don't think I know who that is

  13. Throughout the album, there are hints of Mraz’s formative releases, including his 2002 debut Waiting For My Rocket to Come and 2005’s Mr. A-Z, but it ultimately finds a kinship with We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. It is, in fact, full spiral, reflecting the past but becoming something new.

I love the idea of this in principle!

I was really weary of this song in the leadup, but honestly it's pretty damn fun. Obviously it's not him at his creative best, but it's waaaaaaay better than the reggae album. I have no problem with a full pop record at this point in his career

oooookay this one is pretty smooth. Nothing phenomenal but it's really solid.

New album is waaaaaaay better than the reggae one, thankfully. Some nice little gems on here. Still a far cry from his peak, but at least it's enjoyable!

  22. The old deluxe CD/DVD is a better value, but finally getting those demos loslessly makes this a must-buy.

Was a big fan around the Mr A Z and We Sing era, saw him perform in the CD section of a Borders Books which was cool and a decent headline gig for each of those tours.

Strange just how much he's dropped off the past few years, don't think the last couple of albums have even charted, however they calculate that these days.

I'm Yours has just been certified 13x platinum and We Sing.... 4 x platinum. Not bad.
