Holy shit there’s no way they don’t end up walking this back. The only way they can hope to even halfway fill those venues is if it’s a full album play— and that’s what 90% of fans will likely be expecting.

Oceans Avenue is the only album I’ve ever listened to by them and an album play would be the only way for me to consider going haha

I’m sure they’ll play a good chunk of the album regardless lol

    Since '06

    People want the hits damnit!

I think the tour will do well, but I'll skip since I'm not a fan of the openers.

ill always appreciate YC, I saw them start at the bottom at the smallest venues

  8. Yellowcard, the venues, and the fans are going to all be just fine.

No ct date for yc not surprise and imo ct could have all the venues in the world and still be skipped

Yellowcard should do this 20 year celebration of Oceans Avenue and play no songs from that album to truly fuck with fans

even wilder that today, in 2023, Pearl Jam still gets "StOp ThE pOlItIcS jUsT pLaY mUsIc!!!1' comments on IG whenever they post anything related to their consistent, decades-long activism interests. It's so stupid.

Rise Against and Rage Against The Machine oddly still get those as well.

As someone who grew up in Southwestern CT, my shows were like 65/35 NYC-market/CT based. CT doesn't really have a 3-4k capacity venue for this type of tour although I guess the new College Street Music Hall could kind of count.

yellowcard are vastly overrating how popular they ever were i feel like, zero chance they get 8k or even close to it lol

The hometown Jax show is a 5,500 cap venue and I'll be surprised if it sells out, especially if the album isn't played in full. It does help that it's on a Saturday, though.

Honestly, no one will pry notice if they don’t play the album in full. The deep cuts are mid

I almost fell out of my seat seeing Blossom on there. They can't even sell out House of Blues in Cleveland (1,200 cap). I get there are some bigger openers here, but they are out of their fucking mind.

They could of done oakdale it’s like 5k
Like I said we have the venues but it doesn’t matter
Edit we even have the new amphitheater in Bridgeport easy to get to by train it’s 5,700+ seats

I bartended at a Live Nation amp for a summer, it was wild seeing the difference in crowd sizes between shows.

Most arena are like 10-12K cap for a end stage set up, where as most amps range from 6K for the smaller ones like The Greek, then up to 20k+ for the massive ones.

We had lots of tours come through (Kids Bop, Christian rock, etc) that never had any intention in selling the entire venue.

The only reason I want YC to do OA in full is so they play OA right at the beginning and all the TikTok people will leave immediately after that.

    That's what happened at RF.

I can't figure out if Bridgeport counts as NYC market or Hartford/New Haven. Some tours like Ghost and Greta Van Fleet skip the city and play there.

So many questions for you! Did you have to, every night, essentially fight someone off who wanted to buy alcohol past last call and tried to bargain with you? Also, what show had the drunkest/most obnoxious crowd?

There were ahrdly any people that left after they played OA tf

I'd rather them just play like 6 songs from OA, and then throw in some other hits.

If they were a band that still toured regularly I'd be more interested in a full OA play through.
