Allen Robinson got flagged for spinning the ball on the ground and walking backward from the defender while talking trash... which literally every WR1 in the NFL has done at least 5 times, after a crucial third down conversion that he got targeted in the head... and then they reversed the play because of "offsetting penalties" (even though taunting occurs after the conclusion of the play). And then if Robinson got called again he would have been ejected

I mean , what the fucking fuck that's just an excuse to kick out a teams best player at this point

Armonty Bryant got released by the Browns. Didn't see that one coming. Nobody from the 2013 draft class is with the Browns anymore.

 

Zach Ertz cleared to return this Sunday against Detroit.

Jags need their OL to stay healthy so bad. Individually I like Beachum, Linder and Cann a lot and I'm interested to see if Chris Reed is an improvement over Luke Joeckel... but without any continuity they will probably continue to suck and have poor communication.

I need at least 6 weeks of those guys all on the field together from the football gods, because when we can't run the ball we are terrible. Baltimore showed us what happens to our offense when Beachum and Linder are out.

On a positive note, Myles Jack got promoted over Dan Skuta. I'm glad they were smart and took our bad linebacker off the field instead of trying to take snaps away from Telvin or Poz like they seemed like they wanted to do originally.

 

If you look at the other angle...and then piece it together...baiscally he fumbled, the Redskins recover, and a second later they take it out of the pile.

Its crazy cause it happens so fast, but, looking at the replay rom this angle, there is 0% that Duke Johnson recovered before the 3 Redskin players right there got it.

 

Yet another reason to fire them.

Actually no. This bothered me because in the gif the ball just disappears so I saved it and moved it along frame by frame and you can clearly see a Washington player kick the ball forward, where the only person down to recover it is Duke Johnson.

 

Yeah, I'm with Bram. It looks pretty clear to me that the ball bounces right back to Johnson.

NFL's silly taunting penalties are changing the outcome of games for no good reason

THis bullshit has gone too far.

 

last week when i flew there were two women squawking about ISIS during the flight. like, loud enough for everyone in the plane to hear and make it super awkward and tense. all i could think was, "could there be a worse place to be discussing fucking ISIS?"

these are the types of people who forget guns in bags when they go to airports.

i was shocked that Bortles didn't get a penalty for kicking the ball after he scored. i thought any kicking of the ball, aside from a kick or punt, was a penalty. and especially with how ridiculously awful the calls have been how this didn't get one blows my mind. (not saying it deserves a penalty, but trying to follow the illogical logic of the refs for what they deem is taunting or whatever)

 

I don't feel like it's a coincidence that when we put Myles Jack and when our run game picked up the Jags won the game. This is the Jaguars team that the experts said would make playoffs not the Jags team of weeks 1-3 where we had no run game and Myles Jack was a special teams player.

 

It was against the Colts though so I'd still keep expectations low

 

How long before he's playing well for the Patriots?
