Yeah idk how to parse my feelings on Nekromantik. The version I watched on Full Moon's streaming service didn't have the rabbit footage and I actually really enjoyed the film. I still think it's... mostly good, I think, but I didn't enjoy it nearly as much.

Phantom of the Mall was fun (although I had no idea it existed until tonight and I've been pitching a film called Phantom of the Shopera with literally the exact same plot for years lmao). Also the wedding got me a little emotional!

 

I think that went well!

 

My annual reminder that Poltergeist 3 rules and is way underrated, pretty damn scary, and has great effects.

 

Officially obsessed with Pearl, love when rewatches make me like/love a film more

 

I wish I liked listening to movie scores. Some of these Terror Vision cassettes and vinyl look awesome.

 

The whole time I watched Pearl in a theater, I was thinking “I’m watching something pretty special within the genre”.

 

I love listening to them while I write.

 

When are we gonna see an @Aaron Mook film?

Went to see She Came From the Woods tonight. What a goofy ass, good time that was.

It was super ‘campy’—I’ll see myself out.

 

Antiviral was wild, as expected. Probably my least favorite of Branden Cronenberg's, but there are flashes of greatness and all of the needles and bloodwork made me squirm soooo much. Solid flick. Caleb Landy Jones is underrated.

 

Infinity Pool is out there so guess I'm watching that tonight.

 

Watched High Tension this morning. Absolutely love the atmosphere of that film, but that ending... lol.

 

Anyone see Await Further Instructions? Might give it a go tonight. Feeling alien invasion movies with all the fake UFO news
