Not that that makes the meetings any better or less disagreeable(!), but that's not what we're talking about here.

the way it is deployed in that article is clearly from an internal white house source; that's why it is in quotes. "don't be obtuse"

It's not clearly that it's from or used by people participating in the meetings though, let alone Obama.

I don't think it's even clear that it's from the administration. Could be media, could be a political opponent.

yes, the new york times made up this nickname about making decisions for terrorists or they sourced it from the guy guiding oval office tours, thats much more logical than someone actually in or adjacent to the meetings informing the NYT about what they were called in the white house.

People don't commit suicide because they're "not strong enough", and while this is nowhere near the most offensive thing this jagweed has said this election cycle, it is certainly the one that hits closest to home for me.

This election is taking a toll on me. I don't know how 40-50 percent of the voting population of this country can be this obviously inhumane that they would support a literal sociopath who cares about absolutely no one except himself to be President, but here we are.

This election isn't even about politics at all, it's about the potential of a vast majority of our population being so blinded by hate and xenophobia that they allow themselves to support a narcissistic fascist with a dystopian vision of the future of our country.

okay, what do you think happened? where do you think the "terror tuesday" nickname came from? you entered this conversation by telling me not to be obtuse but you're the one who is ignoring the simplest, most obvious explanation in favor of something ambiguous and unnamed. i can't address any argument you're making because so far you don't have one other than vaguely insinuating things.

That's where I entered the conversation in which you first replied to me? Anyway, good talk. Not interested in repeating what I've already said.

In the context of that reporting, it's pretty obvious that they're saying the day was referred to as "Terror Tuesday" by people participating in the meeting.

  16. That's a big move for CNN. To grab that whole four person team 40 days out from the election.

  18. Two big CO and VA polls today for Clinton. I expect some model movement over the next two days.

  19. Quinnipiac:
    FL C+5
    PA C+4
    NC C+3
    OH T +5

That is a very strong FL number for Clinton. She wins Florida, the election is absolutely over. And so far all the post debate polls have her up there.

  20. Johnson/Stein have seen their share of support in that Q poll cut in half. From 14 to 7.
