I'm weird and I don't like black vinyl.

I want something that looks like a piece of art or something. It makes it feel more special to me.

 

This is my assumption (also not an expert), but the U-Turn is internally grounded so there's nowhere to ground the preamp. The owner said they can send me an external ground breakout so I think that's my next step.

Walked into a record shop near me this weekend and they immediately threw on Tyler Childers' Purgatory, which i have been meaning to get for the longest time. Turns out they had another copy so picked that up and Fleet Foxes' Shore.

I just had my first "oh shit, this is a problem" moment re: collecting vinyl. I received a shipping notification the other day from District Lines, which I can only presume is a record I ordered at some point, but I genuinely have NO idea what it is. I looked up the order number, I deleted whatever the original email was. Not a clue.
