    these are actually the 10 albums i liked out of 14 new releases i listened to. first five will likely make my EOTY top 30, so it's been a decent year so far. i still haven't been blown away like with Harmlessness or Peripheral Vision last year though

    I think you would be into the Richmond Fontaine album if you haven't heard that one yet. One of the most underrated bands out there and this is their final album.

    I could see that. I always kind of viewed them as a mellower drive by truckers, but that may just be bc that's how I first heard of Richmond Fontaine. Patterson had one of their albums on his end of the year list a few years back.
