I’ve always liked Shut Up. Love the music in it and vocal melody.

I just can never not think of UCII where Mark is recording vocals for the song and making fun of himself.

These "higher highs than Enema" takes are making my head spin

 

TOYPAJ and Enema both have a some weaknesses lyrically but are full of incredibly written and produced pop punk songs. I think I slightly prefer the heavier guitars and the emphasized dynamics of TOYPAJ personally but both are such great albums that I can put them on anytime and be super into them.

Untitled will always reign highest for me, but I feel like Enema vs TOYPAJ could change by the day for me and how I’m feeling.

TOYPAJ feels like a better album as a whole, but Enema has better standout singles for me? I dunno.

That Enema anniversary show was special and I bet a TOYPAJ treatment would be epic as well. Although I’m fairly certain TOYPAJ as an album kinda has a sour taste in their mouths from the recording process from what I can remember.

Occasionally will just toss on the Edging music video and it always puts me in a better mood seeing them all together.

 

Excatly especially in this fucked up Boston weather haha…the part they start throwing knives all three together is the sweetest

 

I can play EOTS all the way through and enjoy the whole thing equally but the back half of TOYP is not as good as the first half imo

 

This band needs to do something soon, pre-tour.

An interview with all 3 would be great.

 

Luckily my DVR recorded that episode for some reason on Sat. It must have been edited for time though as it was just the ATST performance and not WMAA. Fun seeing Mark, Tom & Travis on stage for the goodnights at the end too. I remember when it originally aired being bummed they weren't in any of the sketches. Missed opportunity.

 

I love TOYPAJ for what it is. I don't find myself coming back to it often, but whenever I play through it I love it. Honestly, Anything pre Untitled only gets a couple of plays a year. I love it all, but I like the darker undertones that got a lot more love from me personally post-TOYPAJ.

Oh my God that rules. I would love a Simple Creatures full-length. Not my favorite of the Blink side projects, but I really enjoy both EP's and would love more songs from them. Tom would do great in a full-blown pop project. His feature on that one off EDM song was very good.

 

I completely forgot Simple Creatures exists until now and also remembered I never even listened to the 2nd EP.
