We Cool? is phenomenal too

 

We Cool is a perfect album

 

I know a lot of people have this record in a special place in their heart but I really only like half the songs while feeling like he was in a really dark place in the time that he wrote them. I’ve come to love his solo work much more than BTMI and Worry is my absolute favorite but his work keeps getting better and better and it’s wild that he composes for a hit cartoon and getting to perform in front of huge audiences

 

We Cool was definitely a huge step up, but there are a few heaters on ILLS. Specifically the ones he mentioned were written for BTMI lol

 

Amen is one of the best songs he ever wrote imo

 

Yeah Amen is good, honestly the whole thing is pretty good, just listened for the first time in awhile. It was really hard for me to get into it when he first dropped it because I was so bummed out about BTMI

Great to get another EP of these, but on first listen I definitely prefer the other 4 songs they did.
