I watch a number of Premier League games each season (I catch them on NBCSN on Saturdays and Sundays). So I'm into the league but I'm not sure how it works. Can someone explain it to me? Isn't there something about being in the top 4 and the bottom 4? What's the post season like?

 

top four gets you into the champions league (top two into the group stages, third and fourth into the qualifiers), bottom three get relegated to the champonship

yeah and the closest thing to a postseason is in the championship. the top two go up to the premiership automatically and then 3rd-6th do semi-finals and a final
