WAKE UP IT'S THRASH METAL THVRSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I so desperately wanted to post this yesterday but I held off until today for your benefit. Another new Siege of Power song, the supergroup featuring ex-members of Asphyx and Hail of Bullets. Album is out on the 17th on Metal Blade and I've the date CIRCLED IN BLOOD.

Next we have an album that came up on shuffle after I was listening to the new Enforced single. A bit on the blackened speed/thrash side. Came out in 2021, FFO Toxic Holocaust, Hellripper:

And lastly I know this album was posted in here recently, but it deserves a repost. Just came out last week. Don't let the unassuming artwork fool you, this is thrashy/speed af:

Brat's pretty dope tbh. We need more bands that are unapologetically not afraid to be fucking weird and awesome in the scene.

Only metal update I have for today is that I got a sweet Napalm Death boot t-shirt in the mail today. Otherwise, I haven't been able to stop listening to High Vis over the last couple weeks so things have bit a more non-metal than usual around here.

 

i'm only 30 years old and i already feel so disconnected from whatever the modern metal scene is supposed to be if we're pretending bimbocore is good lmao.

napalm are the most consistent extreme metal band and i'm tired of pretending otherwise.

I like it when heavy bands worry less about "wearing the uniform" and more about just doing whatever weird shit they feel like doing.
