Exact same boat and not sure why The Office has 60-second ad breaks 3-4 times an episode but a documentary has me watch 90 seconds of ads before it starts and then no interruptions. I’m guessing it may be based on how popular something is, knowing that The Office pulls huge numbers vs the documentary about how the Amber Alert came to be lol

 

Also fun fact - my mom now almost exclusively watches things on the Peacock app instead of any of the 6,000 other apps I share with my parents because she “likes the colorful dots next to the word Peacock. It’s cute. And better than the big red N of Netflix”

 

That is the most "mom" thing ever lol

 

it really is lol and I never imagined my mom saying something like that. I legit kind of did a double take and held in a laugh because it was such a weirdly classic and as you said, a very mom thing to say

i have all the seasons on dvd but literally cannot find a dvd player that works longer than a few months without breaking these days. Really considering just buying the series on Amazon or something so I can be lazy as shit and not have to get up and change discs and avoid ads lol

 

I use my Xbox Series X to play mine. The way iTunes organizes the series is trash. The entire series is listed as a single season. Maybe Amazon is better.

 

Just watched AARM for the first time in awhile. I think only my 3rd time watching these last few episodes. I use not not want to watch them again due to not wanting to cry. And of course…… Jim giving the teapot letter to Pam with Snow Patrol playing in the background…….

Trying to find out if it’s a reboot with the original cast (like Roseanne / Will and Grace / Frasier) or just resetting with entirely new cast. Either way I’m against it lol

 

They've already proven the show is crap without Michael Scott so I can't see how this is a good idea unless Carell wants to go back into television acting. And I feel like Krasinski is more focused on directing these days.

 

Maybe it'll be a reboot in the style of the new Fresh Prince of Bel Air one haha.

 

Greg Daniels is clearly a smart man, so why is he doing this absurdly dumb thing?
