The Boogeyman was supposed to be a straight to Hulu movie, but did insanely well in testing. I’m excited to see it after learning of the story.

I hate my theater, they hardly ever show horror trailers lol. I want to see the Scream and Evil Dead Rise trailers on the big screen so bad haha. But yeah, Knock at the Cabin was solid. Do prefer the book though

  4. Knock at the Cabin was intense but also surprisingly tender and also very restrained in terms of what it does and doesn't show

I haven't seen a Shyamalan film since Signs and Sixth Sense and it was so long ago I hardly remember them. This was good.

  5. Midsommar Director's Cut came in the mail today! and holy shit it's so big!
About twice as much as I'd usually spend on a single movie but dude what the book is fucking awesome. Totally worth it.
haha the box it came in had A24 written all over it

Yeah I'm not expecting much from Winnie the Pooh, just give me some campiness and fun kills and I'll be happy

    queer as fuck. Supporter

Those monsters killing Bambi's mom and Thumper being a ravenous, meth addict--that movie was already a horror show.

Also, they're already making a sequel for the Pooh movie

Tigger better be in the sequel

  19. Watched Videodrome with a friend who'd never seen it last night. I'm never seen a movie that makes more sense thematically and less sense plot-wise every time I watch it lmao.

Also forgot to watch April Fool's Day for Gourley and Rust, so that will be tonight!

Ended up being way too tired for Skinamarink last night so that will probably happen late Saturday night in the dark with the volume way up like everyone has recommended.

Also I am set to receive the next Terrorvision video sub movie today so there's no way I don't also check out Attack of the Killer Refridgerator this weekend

I think Lights Out is great. Very little filler. Solid reactions and choices from characters. No decisions made that had me rolling my eyes. Grim solution that seemed like the only viable answer. A few great, subtle moments of comic relief. Doesn’t run too long either!

I also think the antagonist is pretty creepy and that they had a great screenplay for how they showed her. 19/10.

  25. the original Lights Out short film was really good

we don't post enough horror short films in here. they're all over youtube! what are we doin?!
