Ideally for Fenway, FYS would play only Tonight We Feel Alive, BMTH would play only It Never Ends, and then FOB plays for two and a half hours

That Chicago date will be nuts. I saw TAI play Almost Here and Alkaline at riot. I was at the reunion show FOB played at the Subterranean. Seeing those bands in Chicago definitely hits different.

 

I’m seriously debating flying in for that Wrigley show.

 

If you haven't seen these bands in Chicago I would highly recommend it. Midwesterners go nuts for the hometown heroes. Alkaline got an enormous crowd pop during their set at riot. Everyone went ballistic for Radio. Fall Out Boy always does cool stuff for their hometown sets.

Never listened to AB/AP besides the singles so figured I'd give it a shot

The Kids Aren't Alright - easily the best

Jet Pack Blues, Favorite Record, Twin Skeletons - pretty good

Novocaine - kind of interesting

And 6 songs that are EXTREMELY not my shit

 

Yeah I always forget how good The Kids Aren't Alright is but most of that record is not great

this is really a ranking of how likely i'll listen to the albums in the next few months

 

IOH being that low is absolutely wild to me

 

IOH is probably my least favorite of Cork, IOH, and Folie, but it’s waaaay above ABAP and Mania

 

A nice benefit of being a Cubs season ticket holder is we get pre-sale access to concerts at Wrigley Field. Curious to see what these are gonna cost.

Am I crazy or are these venues absolutely massive for FOB and BMTH?

 

They played the same spot here in 2014 when I saw them with paramore

oh BMTH aren't at Wrigley? Damn. I was gonna try to go because of Trio and TAI. Having BMTH would have been the icing on the cake.

 

I actually like BMTH so wouldn’t have minded seeing them. I wonder if they’re gonna do their own tour this year that hits those areas.

 

Venues feel very appropriate for the lineup. Fall Out Boy has been a default arena band for years, huge, there seems to be a resurgence in their popularity, plus BMTH is just shy of being an arena band on their own.

 

"Fourth Of July" is the best song off AB/AP and it's not even close. TKAA is good too though.

 

Surely you know the Camden show is the Philly date??
